£20,870 per annum, based on a 22.5 hours per week
We are looking for an experienced and proactive Housing & Property Lead to join our team on the Isle of Man.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone with strong property, housing, repairs and contractor-management experience to play a key role in ensuring our properties are safe, well maintained, compliant and of a high standard for the people we support.
Working closely with service managers, the UK Housing Services Team, landlords, contractors and suppliers, you will provide practical housing and property support across our services on the Isle of Man. You will help ensure that repairs and maintenance are managed effectively, properties meet our required standards, and property projects are delivered to a high standard.
Key responsibilities
As Housing & Property Lead, you will:
We are looking for someone who is organised, proactive and confident in managing a varied property and housing workload.
You will be able to build positive working relationships with a wide range of people and communicate effectively with colleagues, service managers, landlords, contractors, families and external agencies.
You will have a strong focus on quality, safety, compliance and value for money, together with the ability to manage repairs and property issues efficiently and professionally.
Most importantly, you will understand the importance of providing high-quality environments that support the wellbeing, dignity and independence of people we support
This position is subject to an enhanced DBS disclosure for the successful applicant, costs of which will be met by Autism Initiatives
